Listen to Me!

I love podcasts because I can listen to them when I’m driving, sweeping floors, or doing dishes. And now I’ve discovered I love being on podcasts, as well!

My mission as a guest is to provide guitar players with helpful information and ideas. I feel like I accomplished that mission in a short time on this 30-minute episode of The Chris Voss Show. Be sure to listen to learn about the three levels of learning and playing guitar. (Spoiler alert: Limitless Guitar is the third level.)

The Chris Voss Show is on all the major podcast platforms (Apple, YouTube, Spotify, Amazon, etc.) and the episode is titled “Unlock Your Guitar Potential with Limitless Learning from Charlotte Adams.” If you choose YouTube, here are the links to listen or watch.

Limitless Learning, Limitless Life

The next show I’d like you to know about is The Advisor with Stacey Chillemi. I have my own series on the show that I call Limitless Learning, Limitless Life.

There are eight episodes and they are all in an interview format, with Stacy Chillemi as the host. You can find the entire series on any major podcast platform (Apple, Amazon, Spreaker, etc.), or on YouTube. If you choose YouTube, you have the option of watching or listening.

The first episode is an introduction, where Stacey asks me about myself and my work and prompts me to describe my teaching. I chose the topics for all of the subsequent episodes, and you’ll hear me elaborate on subjects similar to the ones I write about in my bi-monthly newsletter. Here’s a brief description of the content of each episode:

The Ultimate Guitar Mastery Podcast: Secrets Revealed

This is the episode that’s introductory.

How to Achieve Guitar Success: Confidence, Competence, Commitment Revealed

In this episode I discuss the competence/confidence loop that I write about in You and Your Guitar and add commitment as a straightforward way to cultivate both.

Creating a Personal Path to Guitar

I recorded this episode to assist guitar players who are considering the various learning options available. Mix and match!

Becoming a Natural Musician

If you’re like most people, you may consider certain musical traits to only be available to a lucky few. In this episode I talk about the importance of intentional listening and developing aural skills for acquiring those traits. Then, I provide easy exercises to start you on your way!

Achieving Balance Through Honoring Your Nature

In this episode I examine how attending to your unique nature will set you up for success in learning and performing. I cover the introversion/extraversion continuum, working with your biorhythms, and using Ayurveda to nourish your being on all levels.

Bridging the Gap: From Music Fan to Player

I consider this to be the most important podcast I’ve done, and it was the most fun for me, because I got to teach the host! Tune in for your own free lesson!

Resistance vs. The Truth

I examine the causes of resistance in both learning and practice—including the discovery of whether the reason you think you’re resisting is even founded in truth—and offer ways to identify and  move through your resistances.

Express Yourself Though Songwriting!

The fundamentals of songwriting are the same as those I addressed in the episode “Bridging the Gap,” but you’ll want to add in lyric writing and creativity. I offer insight into these things and more.
